The regular monthly meeting of the Town of Concord was called to order by Ted Mueller, Chairman, with Kim Herro, Lloyd Zastrow, Jim Zastrow and Brian Neumann present. Ted led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Brian Neumann certified that the meeting had been properly posted. There was a motion by Lloyd Zastrow and seconded by Kim Herro to accept the agenda as presented.

Brian Neumann read the minutes from the April Board Meetings.  There was a motion by Kim Herro and seconded by Ted Mueller to accept the minutes as read.     Affirmative: TM, KH, LZ           Opposed: None               Motion Carried

 

There was general discussion on the noise ordinance.

 

Jim Zastrow read from his written report that there is a balance of -$6,981.94 in the General Fund, $199,155.71 in the Money Market Account, $35,607.27 in the Equipment Fund, and $121,557.85 in the Highway Reserve. There was a motion by Ted Mueller and seconded by Lloyd Zastrow to accept the Treasurer’s Report as read.     Affirmative: TM, KH, LZ        Opposed: None           Motion Carried

 

There was a motion by Kim Herro and seconded by Lloyd Zastrow to pay the bills presented.                Affirmative: TM, KH, LZ            Opposed: None         Motion Carried

 

DuWayne Hunt, Highway Foreman, gave the board a verbal report.  Highlights from the report included mowing, cold patch, brushing, park maintenance and road sign inventory.

 

Mark Grosse, County Supervisor, gave a verbal update to the board to include fair park board turnover and Kikkoman is building a new MFG facility in Jefferson.

 

Ted Mueller thanked Lloyd Zastrow for his 11 years on the Park & Planning Commission. Lloyd has asked that someone replace him on this board.  Ted appointed Tony Metzger for a new 3-year term to the Park and Planning Board. There was general discussion, and the board affirmed the appointment.

 

There was a motion by TM and seconded by Kim Herro to transfer $33,135.96 from the equipment fund to the general fund to pay for the new skid steer.

With no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Lloyd Zastrow and seconded by Ted Mueller. Affirmative: TM, KH, LZ        Opposed: None           Motion Carried
